How to use this calculator
This calculator estimates the total cost of manual QBR preparation for B2B commercial teams. It uses four inputs: the number of accounts reviewed quarterly, average preparation time per account, the fully-loaded hourly cost of an account manager, and the number of account managers in the team.
The default values are based on patterns across logistics, IT services, professional services, and manufacturing companies managing 10–50 key accounts. Preparation time of 3–5 hours per account is typical for teams gathering data manually from TMS, ITSM, ERP, or CRM systems. The “with EvaluationsHub” estimate assumes 20–30 minutes per account when data is pre-populated from operational systems.
QBR preparation time is not the only cost of a manual process. Accounts that go at risk between reviews represent a larger but harder-to-quantify cost. Free templates on this site give teams a structured starting point before they need dedicated software. The churn cost calculator models what those at-risk accounts cost when they leave.
